In January and February of 2024, I will have the pleasure of being a visiting scholar in France, by invitation of the Laboratories Techniques, Territories et Sociétés (LATTS), affiliated with the École des Posts Paris Tech and Université Gustave Eiffel. 2023 and now 2024 have been full of exciting and new opportunities following my doctoral thesis defense. Many new publications, research projects, teaching experiences, and relationships have been built and taken me in directions many directions, some of which I had been working towards for many years, such as this opportunity in Paris. I’m looking forward to what the city of light has in store and I am especially looking forward to working with the group of excellent colleagues at this lab, which specialize in urban issues, questions of socio-ecological transitions, and natural resources politics.
